The Veritas Vineyards & Winery - MCV Society Dinner

On May 10, 2007, the MCV Foundation hosted a dinner honoring members of the Medical College of Virginia Society at The Veritas Vineyards & Winery in Afton, Virginia. The members, along with MCV Foundation staff and a number of MCV Campus deans and development personnel, traveled to Afton on a deluxe motor coach, replete with snacks and bubbly, and arrived at the winery just in time to take in the magnificent sunset. Cocktails and hors' doeuvres were enjoyed in the tasting room and on the veranda, and a wonderful dinner in the Veritas' silk-draped dining room followed, with musical entertainment provided by "Super 64". All agreed that it was a delightful evening, and the ride back to Richmond was decidedly quieter, as people dozed or talked quietly with one another. Below are some captured moments from the evening.
