Darius A. Johnson

Darius A. Johnson joined the board of the MCV Foundation in 2013.

Darius is vice president and treasurer for Dominion Energy, after having prior roles in the Power Delivery and Treasury groups.  He joined Dominion Energy after coming from Bank of America/Merrill Lynch in October 2016, where he was senior vice president and senior client manager. Earlier, he spent nine-and-a-half years as president and chief lending officer of the consolidated division of Premier Bank.

He has served as a member of the boards of the Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Richmond Chamber of Commerce, Radford University, Sportsbackers, Boaz Ruth and Venture Richmond. He is passionate about higher education, health and human services, and the City of Richmond, which is why he supports the MCV Foundation board.

Darius holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Richmond, as well as a graduate certificate from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania.

He, his wife Monique and their daughter Phoebe Noelle, reside in Richmond.
