Investing in knowledge
The MCV Campus schools and centers take great pride in their outstanding faculty. They share that pride with the many alumni and friends whose generosity enhances our reputation for academic, research and clinical excellence and honors our most talented physicians, scientists and nurse-educators.
Both unrestricted and restricted support in the form of endowed professorships and chairs strengthen the schools’ efforts to recruit and retain today’s top teachers and scholars. Funds generated by these endowments are applied across the campus in a number of ways, including providing “protected time” for our faculty to spend conducting innovative research or teaching future generations of health care professionals.
