Creating better futures
More than 75 percent of the students on the MCV Campus receive some type of financial aid to pursue their dreams of a career in the health sciences. Each year, many of these students graduate with a debt load exceeding $100,000. With the cost of tuition one of the most difficult issues facing today’s students, a scholarship can make the difference between having a dream and living it.
The gifts of faculty, alumni and friends have made it possible for the MCV Foundation to award more than $1 million in scholarships for the current academic year. Such generosity supports the MCV Campus schools’ efforts to attract today’s most promising students — students who contribute to the vitality of the classroom and are most likely to become tomorrow’s pre-eminent medical professionals, dedicated educators and civic and government leaders.
