Medical College of Virginia Society


















The MCV Foundation invites you to join our Medical College of Virginia Society, a distinguished group of individuals who share a vision of excellence for the MCV Campus of the Virginia Commonwealth University.

Through their thoughtful consideration, society members are helping to advance superior patient care, medical education and research in every corner of campus.

The MCV Foundation created the former Heritage Society in 1994 to recognize and extend gratitude to those who have made provisions in their estate planning in support of any of the MCV Campus schools—Allied Health Professions, Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy—as well as MCV Hospitals, Massey Cancer Center or the Tompkins-McCaw Library. The name of the Society was changed to the Medical College of Virginia Society in 2003 to recognize the tradition and heritage of the Medical College of Virginia name. Since its inception, the Society has steadily grown to over 300 members.

 

Ways to Give as a Medical College of Virginia Society Member

If you would like to join us in providing for the future of the MCV Campus and become a Medical College of Virginia Society member, you may do so in one of the following ways:

• Charitable Bequest in a Will
• Insurance Policy Provision
• Retirement Plan Designation
• Irrevocable Gift to a Charitable Remainder Trust, Charitable Gift Annuity or the MCV Foundation Pooled Income Fund

Members receive a certificate of membership and a pin, and their names are inscribed on a permanent roster on display at the MCV Alumni House. Periodically, special events are held exclusively in their honor, and they are recognized in university and MCV Foundation publications.
