Farhad Aghdami joined the MCV Foundation board in 2017.
Farhad is Williams Mullen’s Richmond Managing Partner. He focuses his practice on business succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, entity formation and structuring, and wealth transfer planning and preservation. He has extensive experience in federal income, estate and gift taxation.
A fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, Farhad is listed in The Best Lawyers In America© in both the Tax and Trusts and Estates categories (2006-present). In 2015 and 2018, he was named Richmond's "Lawyer of the Year" for Tax law, and in 2016 he was named Richmond’s “Lawyer of the Year” for Trusts & Estates law by Best Lawyers®.
Farhad is a 1989 graduate of the University of Virginia and a 1992 graduate of the Wake Forest University School of Law. He received his LL.M. in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center in 1995.
