I. Lee Chapman IV

I. Lee Chapman IV, CFA, is president and chief executive officer at Davenport & Company LLC. He began his career in the financial services industry in 1993 with Nations Securities. Lee joined Davenport in 1995 as a portfolio manager with Davenport Asset Management. Lee is a member of the CFA Institute and SIFMA. He currently serves on the boards of St. Christopher’s School Board of Governors, Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges, The Richmond Forum and Junior Achievement of Central Virginia. Lee is a native of Richmond, Virginia, where he lives with his wife, Martha, and three children. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
