Louise Woltz Smith

Louise Woltz Smith joined the MCV Foundation board in 2022.

As a managing director at Apogem Capital, Louise focuses on buyout, growth equity and turnaround manager relationships in North America. She is involved in all aspects of private equity investment sourcing, due diligence and monitoring with an emphasis on primary fund investments.

Before joining Apogem Capital, Louise worked in investment banking at Harris Williams & Co. where she executed sell-side mergers and acquisitions across a variety of industries.

Louise received both a B.S.B.A. and an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
