Brian Partlow

Brian joined the MCV Foundation in January 2026 as the assistant chief financial officer. As a finance executive, Brian has over 20 years of experience leading financial strategy, analysis and operations in both nonprofit and for-profit organizations. 

Most recently, he served as the executive director of finance and assistant treasurer for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation where he led financial planning and analysis, treasury operations, endowment and pension oversight, and organization-wide budgeting. His work has included managing investment performance for a $700 million endowment, guiding major debt refinancings, supporting ERP system selection and implementation and delivering financial reports and insights to senior leadership and the governing boards.

A certified public accountant, Brian’s experience also includes working for sweetFrog Enterprises, TruePath Wireless,  Zero Point Incorporated, ATK/Blackhawk and PPG Industries.

Brian earned a B.S. in physics from William & Mary and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in Williamsburg with his wife and enjoys distance running and cheering for the Chicago Bears.
