Phaedra Putnam

Phaedra Putnam joined the MCV Foundation in November 2024 as an accounting administrative assistant on the finance team after working as an early childhood classroom observer and several years as a substitute teacher.

Phaedra has extensive and varied experience including working independently as a merchandiser for more than ten years with a variety of companies such as American Greetings, L’Oreal/Maybelline and Lego Group both in the United States and in Europe. She also established and ran her own decorating business for over a decade.

Phaedra graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Arts in communication studies. While raising four children, she served her community through leadership roles in various sports, school and church organizations. She enjoys traveling, painting, cooking and reading.
