Supporting the work of Dr. Cecelia Boardman

Cecelia Boardman, M.D., holds the Dianne Harris Wright Professorship for OB/GYN Oncology Research, one of two professorships established by Diane Harris Wright in gratitude for the exceptional care she has received from Boardman, Massey Cancer Center and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dianne and Ken Wright also have committed $1 million in future support to Massey and the department for women’s cancer research.

“The Wrights’ gifts recognize the importance of recruiting and retaining outstanding physician-scientists and of intensifying our research in the causes, prevention and treatment of gynecologic cancers,” Boardman said. “Their confidence and support is inspiring. It increases our resolve and strengthens our ability to offer the most advanced approaches to gynecologic cancers in the region and positions us among the leading women’s oncology centers in the country.”
