Every year at the MCV Foundation, we are honored to remember the many reasons to be grateful. This has been a particularly outstanding year of supporting VCU Health’s education, research and patient care missions.
In February, the university received a historic and transformative investment to support liver disease research and care. Another significant development that will reverberate for years came in October when the MCV Foundation approved its support and funding of a campus-wide initiative that will provide $4 million over four years to help ensure tomorrow’s health sciences professionals are reflective of the diverse patient populations they will serve.
We continue to be thankful for the endurance and resilience of front-line clinical workers whose mettle has been continuously tested and strengthened over the pandemic and its many aftershocks.
Most of all, though, we are always grateful for the donors who make this sort of innovation and transformation possible on the MCV Campus. Through more than 1,900 endowed funds, our donors have supported scholarships, research projects and renowned faculty members at VCU Health.
Every day, that level philanthropic generosity allows VCU Health to meet the moment and to continue pursuing the dream and bold vision of a healthier tomorrow for all.
Each year, our gratitude for you grows more bountiful, and we are ever thankful for you and the transformative impact your generosity has on the MCV Campus.
