MCV Campus Endowed Scholarships

In light of concerns surrounding COVID-19, the MCV Foundation cancelled its annual MCV Campus Endowed Scholarship Brunch that was scheduled for March 22.

The event has been an opportunity for scholarship donors and recipients to meet, say thank you, discuss past and future careers, and sometimes make lifelong connections. While it didn’t take place this spring, the impact and generosity of scholarship donors is still quite remarkable and worthy of praise.

This year, donors accounted for 452 scholarships, which is 39 more than last year. Through these endowed scholarships, students from all five academic units on the MCV Campus had access to $3.1 million in funding and support.

Healthcare education is expensive, so these resources help make dreams of service to others achievable for many young people who otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity. Then the education these passionate students receive cultivates the top healthcare providers of the future.

Scholarships range from modest financial supplements for students to full tuition coverage, and donors can establish their own endowments or contribute to existing funds. To learn more about the various ways to establish a scholarship or grow an existing one, visit www.MCVFoundation.org/give.
