Dr. Venitz has inspired and mentored many VCU School of Pharmacy students over his decades of teaching. This year, many of them have given back to establish a scholarship in his honor.

During times like these we feel especially fortunate to partner with a world-class academic health center. We have watched how the extraordinary professionals at VCU Health have handled this health crisis with compassion and strength.

2019 has been an amazing year on the MCV Campus at VCU Health. New facilities have opened and begun construction, grateful patients and alumni have made incredible contributions to the campus’s future, and the MCV Foundation has made new friends across Central Virginia who we know will be partners in advancing patient care, research and education for many years to come.

This month we completed our latest Chronicle of Giving magazine. This issue includes some of the most inspiring stories about our donors, whose philanthropic support saves, improves and changes lives on the MCV Campus at VCU Health.

Each year, we are thankful for the support of the many individuals who invest in great care, research and education on the MCV Campus.

Both Don and Michele Romano, M.D., found IRA Charitable Rollovers a great way to support their favorite charity.

As Charlie Teaters' 40-year Reunion approached this year, he made the decision to give back to the school that gave him so much. He said the reasons he was so excited to return to campus for Reunion Weekend were the same reasons he decided to make a gift.

Just over 100 years ago, 19 pioneering women began their journeys in health science education at the Medical College of Virginia. Today, female students are receiving support from those who came before.

We were pleased to help some of our MCV Campus Partners raise funds for students and life-saving research during Giving Tuesday.

This year marks two big birthdays on the MCV Campus: The School of Medicine turns 180 years old and the School of Nursing turns 125.
